BJP,
a Party with a difference!
“Today afternoon, RSS
Sarsanghchalak, Shri Mohan Bhagwat spoke to Shri Advani and asked him to
respect the BJP Parliamentary Board decision and continue to guide the Party in
the national interest. Shri Advani has decided to accept Shri Bhagwat’s advice.”

after, Sri Advani has withdrawn his resignation for the three posts of the BJP
he is holding--National Executive Committee member, Parliamentary Board member
and Election Committee member.
BJP is not “a party with a
difference” and it is just like Congress
in the sense it is full of leaders having
their own personal agendas(as said by Sri Advani himself, opposing elevation of
Modi as Convener of the Campaign Committee) said by Advani himself and is full
of internal feuds. When in power at the centre or in states, it faced the
allegations of corruption like Congress. Like Congress, it wants to carry
forward the economic agenda of
liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation for the benefit of foreign and
Indian big corporate and which is also the breeding ground for mega scams.
But BJP is a “party with a
difference” in that it is controlled by RSS, the organisation whose Nathu Ram Godse
killed Mahatma Gandhi and who wants to divide the people on communal grounds
and who is responsible for flaring up communal clashes.
Lakes disappearing in Hyderabad
Hyderabad and its surroundings was home to 3086 lakes, but in reality there are
only 100 in existence now. Ground water
once available at less than 30 feet below the soil now went down to a level of
1200 feet below soil.
Greedy builders have encroached
even lakes and killed them. Authorities are keeping quiet and allowing it. The
greed of capitalist system not only kills people by creation of war, poverty,
ill health, unemployment etc but also kills environment. To protect the human
beings and the environment from future catastrophe, society should be transformed from capitalism to a more humane system,
socialism.
Women mature at 32, Men mature at
43-Nickelodeon UK Study Report
A study commissioned by the TV
channel Nickelodeon UK has revealed that men emotionally mature at 43 and women at 32. Men were almost twice likely
to describe themselves as immature than women were, and one in four men believe
they are immature. 3 out of 10 women ended a relationship because they lost
patience with their men’s immaturity. 46% of the female participants in the
survey had a relationship in which they had to mother their male counterpart.
Women claimed they actually had to tell their man to “act his age” on an
average of 14 times a year, more than once a month. Women yearned for
communication. One quarter of women wished their partners would talk about themselves
and what they felt more often. Women also felt they were the ones that made all
the important decisions in their relationships. 40 per cent of people said they
thought immaturity was an important component in keeping relationships fun and
fresh, and 33 percent said the immaturity helped when bonding with kids. Some
of the maturity failings experienced by women in the men are—eating fast food
at 2 AM, playing video games, driving too fast, finding rude words amusing,
finding their own passing of gas and burping amusing, driving with loud music,
playing practical jokes, trying to beat children at games and sports, staying
silent during an argument, not being able to cook simple meals etc.
It is said that these findings are
reaffirmed with previous studies on the pre-frontal cortex (PFC) of human brain
which is just behind the forehead and is responsible for a lot of men’s short
comings. The PFC is called as the “CEO of the brain” or “mother”. This part of
the brain controls cognitive analysis, abstract thought, and corrective behavior in social situations. Research
has revealed that brain development process occurs from the back to the front
and the male brain PFC maturation is not complete until the age 25, whereas the
female brain PFC matures at 21. The slowness of men’s brain maturation explains
the maturity failings and their own recognition of those failings.
Is the maturity difference between men and
women is simply only due to genetic and biological factors or whether patterns of behaviours imposed differently on men and women by the
society play a role in this? I think another research is necessary to find out
the pattern of behavior of women and men in matriarchic societies (when the
society was dominated by mother, not father) and patriarchal societies existing
now where the father dominates society and mother became submissive.
